CVS to Add Appointment Scheduling, Wait Times to Mobile App in 2016

Patients will be able to view wait times at MinuteClinic locations and schedule appointments remotely via CVS Health’s mobile app starting in 2016. Many cities have multiple MinuteClinic locations, so this feature could be very useful for patients.

Walgreens Healthcare Clinics already allow appointment scheduling on their website and app.

These two retail health clinic leaders will also further incorporate telemedicine visits heading into next year, both in-person in their drugstores and via phone/video.
